Kiave y Azahn sure know how to have a good time!

We are really enjoying Kiave and Azahn at each stage - they are growing to be independent, curious, wiser, entertaining and silly! This is great ... the pictures speak for themselves.

A lesson on flexibility/spontaneity!

Okay, so how many of you know that I like to plan my trips? Driving to the Oregon Coast on this day was NOT part of the plan, but it was fun (thankfully, I had the right gear ready for 'the boys').

And, tell the truth - how many of you have visited the beach in gloves, hats, coats and boots?! That's alright, we had a good time flying the kites and watching the sun set. Needless to say, the car ride home (90 minutes) was nice and quiet.

Kiave and Azahn enjoy time in the park with Nyla ... it must be nice exploring when you're between the ages of 3 - 5 years!












As part of a Fall festival at Portland Community College (Adrian's job), Kiave and Azahn enjoy a Penguin and Batman, while I enjoy the foliage.













Here, I tell 'the boys' that this is the first AND last time I expect to see them behind bars (taken at the Washington County Museum)!

Moving from Summer - Fall 2008!

As a family, we enjoyed planting new 'bulbs.' We will also enjoy watching them grow during the Spring season :)

So ... we ride on the trolley (not the tracks), Kiave receives a new/green bicycle from NYC, Tia Priscilla (who visits from California) reads to the boys, and Kiave plans to 'read' to Azahn (it's true ... he is beginning to read a few words on his own!).

We're getting better at this ... although we used a cabin this time vs. a tent! This was a nice Labor Day Weekend activity.
